I believe that if someone is trying to sell their service to you, they should someone prove it and be transparent on the result of their campaign even if it was a failed campaign. If that marketer or advertising agency is transparent to you when it comes to their past projects, successful campaigns and pricing, then it becomes to clear that you can trust them with marketing your business. Sometimes, it’s all about the gut feeling of trusting someone and the feeling of someone being transparent with you. You’ll know in the first 5 minutes of you talking to them about your business. Just like being on a first date, you’ll know if there is a connection or not.
My advice to business owners who are thinking of hiring someone to do the marketing for them is to find someone who you have connection with and who you can trust and is being transparent with you. Someone who isn’t just for the money, but for the growth of your business. Hiring a digital marketer has a lot of benefits. One of them is your time. Time is gold and you can focus more on other aspects of your business by hiring someone to do the marketing for you. Be patient, trust the process, and hire the right person/agency.
